It wasn't quite sunset when I took this picture. I was driving west on Interstate 8 just east of Gila Bend when I saw this. I'm glad I pulled over to take a few shots. It's been a stormy night around Tucson, although not so much in Oro Valley. An outflow boundry blew through and our temperature dropped from 101 to 90 in about a half hour. Winds were in the 30mph range with some higher gusts. All that,but no rain. Parts of Tucson and south and east did get a good soaking. The clouds made for some nice scenes in the sky. Here are a few.
